Office Policies for Patients

Office Business Hours

9:00 am to 4:30pm Monday – Thursday (CLOSED for lunch 1-2 pm)

If you call the office during business hours and get a busy signal or you cannot get through, please keep trying 843-884-3070 until you get voicemail and can leave a message. Your call will be returned that day or the next business day.

After-Hours Contact

For emergency situations, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Individual urgent phone numbers for issues that cannot wait until the next business day are as follows:

If you have not heard back within 20 minutes, please call again.

Cancellations

Patients are required to give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Also, Monday appointments must be cancelled by the Thursday prior. You will be charged for late cancellations and missed appointments.

Please note, our office does NOT make reminder calls. It is the patient’s responsibility to keep up with their appointments.

Prescriptions

Please allow at least 48 hours for all prescription requests. Please remember we are CLOSED on Fridays and major holidays. Please give your physician proper notice if you are in need of refills BEFORE Fridays/holidays and BEFORE your medication runs out. Prescription/sample pick-up is available during business hours.

Payments

Payment is due on the day of service. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover, checks and cash. Please be aware that all practitioners in this office are Independent Contractors and though we share the same building, we are not affiliated with each other.

Our patients are very important to us. Please abide by these guidelines so that we can better serve you and provide the best care possible.
