Lynne Ravenel, LISW

Lynne is a licensed Clinical Social Work professional, in private practice for over thirty years. She works with adults, beginning at age eighteen, dealing with “life issues,” decision-making, depression, conflict management, anxiety, and also with those who seek deeper meaning and purpose in their lives. She specializes in couples counseling, for which she has had extensive training.

Lynne’s education and training include a B.S. in Psychology from Wofford College, a Masters in Clinical Social Work form The University of South Carolina. She is a graduate of the Kathlyn and Gay Hendricks Conscious Living Institute, (a three year program in Santa Barbara, California). She has been trained in Harville Hendrix’s Imago therapy for couples. And currently, she is entering her second year in the MFA program at Bennington College in Vermont.

Lynne has always worked in a practice with Psychiatrists, beginning with Drs. Bruce Ford and Kenneth Wells in Spartanburg, S.C. (four years), Dr. Carol M. Graf in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. (twenty years) and currently with Drs. Sara Marcino and Cindy Hope in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. (seven years). Lynne’s personal and professional goals are to be of assistance to individuals and couples who wish to reach their highest potential and to become good stewards of their gifts and talents.
